1948

From shipbuilding to technology

G. Naaktgeboren joins shipyard and machine factory A. van der Eijk & Zn N.V. and is added to the management. This marks the end of the shipbuilding activities and the beginning of a technical course.

1949

First vacuum pressure tank truck

Development of the first 6,000 liter vacuum pressure tank truck with an air transport system for wet substances, including for the manure trade.

1950

Start specialized tanker production

Start of production of suction and vacuum tankers with compressors and special low-pressure blowers. Wet material applications made of stainless steel or aluminum, including blood tankers, closed waste trucks for offal and customized solutions.

1951

New management

G. Naaktgeboren wordt benoemd tot directeur.

1956

International tropical implementation

Development of a 5,000 liter tropical suction and vacuum tank truck on a Ford F-500 chassis for Abu Dhabi.

1962

Mobile measuring and probing technology

Construction of mobile, hydraulic soil testing and measuring installations.

1965

Introducing the bulk/blower tipper

Development of the first aluminium bulk and blower tipper for the compound feed industry.

1966

Larger stainless steel tankers with sampling

Development of 13,000 liter stainless steel suction and pressure tankers, equipped with sampling equipment.

1967

International export of aluminium bulk trucks

Export of aluminium bulk trucks with redler unloading and blowing systems to Europe and the Middle East.

1972

Name change and co-ownership

The company name will be changed to Machinefabriek van der Eijk Rotterdam B.V.. G. Naaktgeboren joins as co-owner.

1974

Milestones 1974 - Breakthrough in aluminium tank technology

• Self-supporting aluminum vacuum tank trailer 22,000 ltr.
• 6000 ltr. vacuum pressure tank truck with air-cooled blower system for tanker cleaning.
• Production of aluminium pressure tankers (“Alubulk”) with blower unloading system.
• First aluminium vacuum pressure tank truck for dry substances, with self-cleaning filter systems.

Milestones 1976 - International bulk trailers and innovation

• Production of aluminum pressure tank bulk trailers for compound feeds and granules, with blower systems.
• Short aluminum bulk trailers with steered rear axles.
• Large aluminium pressure tankers for international transport (Norway).

1978

Milestones 1978 - Focus on environmental and waste technology

• Market transition from the agricultural sector to industrial environmental waste technology; vacuum-pressure tankers with filter installations for dust cleaning at Hoogovens.
• Introduction of stainless steel vacuum-pressure blower/suction vehicle with two blowers.
• Introducing Vacu-Press 2500 (basic).
• Vacu-Press aluminium trailer (3-axle) for export

Milestones 1983 - The core of Vacu-Press

• Development of an air-cooled pre-intake blower (“Vacu-Press”) suitable for overpressure and vacuum; heart of the machine.

Vacu-Press 13000 trailer two V.P. blowers, powered by a Mercedes diesel engine, installed between the chassis beams of the specially designed tipper chassis.

1986 Rotterdam Entrepreneurship Award for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, presented by the Minister of Economic Affairs.

Introduction of a VACU suction tank truck for wet substances (VLG 13 m³).

Milestones 1993 - New construction, recognition and expansion

• Completion of the new construction program from old shipbuilding warehouses to modern, heavily submerged factory halls and detached office.
• Business premises 4380 m², including 2200 m² built.
• Opening of the renewed company by the mayor of Rotterdam.
• Mr. G. Naaktgeboren appointed Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau.

Development of a train suction unit

Development of the P.U.H. 2/7500 train suction unit for train-underground applications.

Transfer of shares

Transfer of shares in Machinefabriek G. Naaktgeboren Rotterdam B.V. to the management of Robert L. Naaktgeboren and Peter N. Naaktgeboren.
