G. Naaktgeboren joins shipyard and machine factory A. van der Eijk & Zn N.V. and is added to the management. This marks the end of the shipbuilding activities and the beginning of a technical course.

Naaktgeboren has been developing and building vacuum trucks and machines in Rotterdam since 1949, the year we built our first vacuum-pressure tanker. More than 2,000 units have been delivered since, and our machines are in use worldwide.
Under the Vacu-Press® brand we develop mobile and stationary machines for suctioning, transporting, unloading and blowing dry and wet materials. From vacuum-pressure tankers and suction excavators to catalyst units and installations for liquids and oil. Our machines are used in industrial cleaning, petrochemicals, construction and earthmoving among others, and are available in versions to ADR, ATEX, SIR and SBG.
Engineering, production and service sit under one roof. That lets us build our machines around the customer's application instead of the other way round. From Rotterdam we also supply parts, maintenance, rental and used machines. So we stay involved after delivery and remain reachable for the people who work with our machines every day.
The third generation is now active within Naaktgeboren. As a Rotterdam family business we work with short lines and direct contact. We combine that way of working with more than 75 years of experience in vacuum and pressure technology.
