Compact, for units with a small base frame

The ultra-high-pressure pumps of the Y series are exceptionally compact. Their small dimensions and low weight make them easy to install in units built on very small base frames. With working pressures up to 1000 bar, the pumps of the Y series handle the widest range of cleaning work: in the chemical industry, in oil and gas, and in ship cleaning. The sealing water system used prevents leakage, allows a particularly long life for the high-pressure seals and keeps air from being drawn in.

Pumps in the Y series can optionally be fitted with suction valve lifters. This elegant alternative to a bypass valve circulates the water whenever there is no pressure in the pump head and the water tool is not being operated. An alternative is the pump with coated steel plungers, which increases wear resistance and resistance to thermal shock. WOMA also supplies ceramic plungers for the Y series, which stand up very well to acids and alkaline liquids. Every WOMA pump gearbox has an integrated oil cooling system. All WOMA pumps are moreover certified to ATEX (Ex II 2G D T5).
